ARTIST STATEMENT

The idea of reviving an overlooked or undervalued object feels deeply personal to me, which is why I gravitate toward trash as a medium.

Art is my way of actively fighting repression: physical, emotional, social. When words fail, my work speaks. I am drawn to the raw and unrefined aspects of human experience, with a particular focus on the lives of marginalized communities. I explore themes of belonging, identity, and resistance through that lens.

I want viewers to find beauty in the unconventional, and to feel the necessity of radical self-exploration. I don't want my art to play it safe; I would much rather make something real.
